is it possible to add something like google analytics to smugmug albums?

Is it possible to add somehting like google analythics (https://www.google.com/analytics/) to smugmug albums to track where does a visitor come from?
or maybe it is already implemented and I can not find it?

    Yes, you can add google analytics to your site; I've been using it for quite a while. It is defined at your overall site level as opposed to a gallery level, but statistics can be seen by gallery. (I suspect that you need to have either a power or pro account because you'll need to add something to your smugmug page footer, but I'm not sure about that.)

    OK, so I follow the instructions perfectly, and google is telling me it can't find the tracking info??? Any suggestions

    It's been a couple years now, but if I remember right it, took a day or two for it to recognize your site.

    i got so fed up waiting that i removed the domain DNS a-record/c-name stuff and just put the Analytics file on my hosting account i still had for my domain, so that Google would read it, then i redirected the DNS stuff to smugmug right after that... it took a day i think(?)...
