Photofix Pro Suite questions

First I did a search for Photofix and found nothing.

My Colorvision no longer works because I upgraded to XP PRO 64, so it is time to get a new monitor calibration system. Figured while I was at it might as well look into the print side too.

Is Photofix the way to go? Not looking to spend all of my kids inheritance, just some. Are there any problems with Photofix? Is it easy to install and use? And now the big question.....If I print the target on another system can I profile and create an ICC for it from my system? I have a company laptop but it is checked to make sure no non-company software is installed.

Thanks all

just out of curiosity, have you tried running it compatibility mode or will it not even install?

It installs but will not see the sensor. It in stalls in the 32bit folder.

sounds like a driver issue. check w/ photofix to see if there's an updated driver for vista? if not, there seems to be some positive feedback on other calibration systems like huey from some dgrin members.
