Rusty Old Truck

I was hiking in northern AZ. and ran across the truck sitting there with nothing around.......There were no structures or roads; they were long gone.

    I like that image! Did you do a little posterizing on the color section? I'm really going to have to learn that technique for separating/isolating color. I hear a lot of people saying that they don't like it for one reason or another, but I think when it's used properly it can take an image to whole new levels. Good work. thumb.gif

    Do you know of any tutorials that explain how to achieve that effect?

    I'm sure there are tutorials, but I don't know of one.
    The picture was shot in the middle of the day and was pretty weak. So I did as you said, added a little posterizing to the truck.
    I started out with the whole pic posterized.....Boy was that grim!.....I believe a little bit goes a long way.

    Just enough "way cool" factor to make it arresting without just screaming about technique.
