Hi - came accross this abandoned home whilst travelling between Rovaniemi and Kitillä in Lapland, Finland. I'm sure it must be a haven for owls!

Nikon D50 + 18-200VR lens @ 46mm, aperture f/5, shutter speed 1/100.

Cheers - Herman

I'm sure there is an owl or 5 in there. :D Not forgetting to mention spiders and other hairy creatures.

Besides this interesting shot do you get many opportunites to take aurora photos?

Regretfully not. With the exeception of the local souvenir shops, I saw no aurora's at all.

Great find! I LOVE abandoned old decaying buildings. It makes a person wonder what has happened there. The history, the mystery, and the decay combine for a strong emotional response.
