If you were to crop it I probably wouldn't miss the top but I think cutting any more off the left side wouldn't give the viewer enough room to walk into the frame. The fence leads into the water in the background and as it is I sort of wish I could see more ocean.

Maybe try it with a bit of a tighter crop (cutting out the top and left), to get rid of some of the less interesting clouds near the top?
I'll try that crop and post it here to see. i like the idea of such a crop

Very nice! I think the light to dark tones give it a lot of depth. I love the fence.
