Photo Site Comparison

A blogger did a fairly comprehensive review of photo sites and came out with our favorite Smugmug at the top of the list!:clap

SmugMug is, by far and away, the most featureful, controllable, professional site for photo sharing I have experienced.

SmugMug is the real deal. Put simply - these guys have their ducks in a row and have built a gorgeous site that does what it should.

Um...$40 is a "pretty big yearly commitment"? I disagree there. Otherwise a fairly nice review, though he missed many other competitors (of course, a few pro-oriented options are even more expensive to start).

As the original post was edited, I am removing the bulk of my comment and leaving only the relevant bits. Internet fight successfully avoided!

As the author of that blog entry, I wanted to respond... $40 is not expensive in general... but it's certainly hefty, in comparison to the other sites, for photo hosting. The cost of SmugMug was double the cost of all of the other services evaluated. That was pretty much the sole negative.
