Does this happen to anyone else?

As I modify my pages, occasionally I will run across an issue that is confusing to me. When I click the "edit" button to modify text in a description box...the box disappears! I am not sure where the problem lies, and not every description box acts in this manner. Any help is appreciated!

I really don't have anything nifty to say so I will remain quiet and observe!

    Hi Tom,

    All fixed. You had a couple of unclosed </div> tags. I've placed them in your bio for you. Should be able to edit okay now.

    Same for me when I edit any gallery name in the SmugMug view - it just disappears! I've just got used to going the 'customise gallery' route instead when I need to make such changes, ponderous as this may be, for as long as I can remember.

    Can't find any missing </div> tags to explain it, though! <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/ne_nau.gif&quot; border="0" alt="" >

    That's because you are hiding it <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/thumb.gif&quot; border="0" alt="" >
    #breadcrumb                   {visibility:hidden;}

    Are we talking about the same element? I'm referring to difficulties when editing what I understand is the element #albumTitle .title

    Are we on the same wavelength? Be gentle with me!

    The name of the album when it is displaying 'normally' is indeed #albumTitle .title
    However, the name of the element with the input field and the save/cancel buttons is different.

    What you are doing is first hiding everything, and then showing the elements that you want to see, which is fine, but you will need to add this to your CSS for everything to work thumb.gif
    #editTitle { visibility: visible; }

    Thanks Ivar but, OMG, this is getting pretty convoluted stuff for the uninitiated! eek7.gif

    I've applied your fix and I can now edit gallery titles 'in situ'. Thanks for your help. thumb.gif
