Guest Password - Hostname confusion

I want to allow a few guests to upload photos, so I know I need to setup a guest password. But I'm confused about the hostname issue when setting up a guest password. I have a Pro account and the url is currently my nickname.smugmug.com. When I try to setup a guest password, it asks for the hostname. If I put in my smugmug url, it says I can't. Do I have to do the CName routine to set up a guest password? Thanks.

I just tried it again and found the password was set. I logged in (had to figure that one out, too, the instructions for how guests login wasn't readily available in FAQ, I found it here in the forum).

Hi Robyn,

Yes you should be all setup. I'm sorry for the confusion with the custom host name. You have to ignore those error messages when you don't have your own host name. The settings for the guest password will be saved in any way.
