Introduction oh, and a duck or two
A little intro as this is my first post here. I've been a "snapshot shooter" for about 20 years and am just now getting into "serious" photography. I took my first instruction in photography last week at a workshop in Estes Park, Co. This is one of the 2000 photos I took.

This one was taken on the west side of the Rockies near Grand Lake before the sun came up over the mountain. You can see some of the new light in the ripples. One I took with a wider aperture and slower speed was washed out.

From an art standpoint I really like it - maybe even consider doing something crazy with the colors to really make it pop out of the screen.
From an early morning snapshot I'm not so sure, the bushes really dominate the frame and the duckies are almost consumed by them..
