Hi Everyone,
I got these shots the other day. You guys (and ladies) on the coasts probably see millions of them but we don't get many (if any) around here, so it was a different bird for me to photo.
There were two adults and two young. The adults kept trying to get the two young ones to fish for themselves.. but they weren't the least bit interested in having to work for dinner. The adults have this blaring squawk and the young just peep. All day long the adults would fly and squawk and the little ones would just hang on the ground peeping and waiting for dinner. When the adults would land the young would run up for food but the adults weren't having anything to do with it and just stood there.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.
BTW, these terns are on loan so please retern them when you're done:D

What made these guys hard to shoot for me was their black eyes. I took about 40 shots throughout the day and most came out good with different shadow and lighting hitting every part of them but just about every shot had no eyes, not even a hint of catchlight except this first shot, even the ones of them on the ground.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
