A bit disappointed with my first outing with this lens. Even stopped down, it's way soft :(

    Looks like two pretty good images. If the softness is a problem, have you tried sharpening the images in a photo editor?

    Sure have. Post sharpening is the only thing that saved these from being deleted with the rest.
