Dgrin/Smugmug summary

I've had an idea for a while about doing a weekly 'round-up' of interesting items that appear on the forum and come from Smugmug, partly for my own benefit because I have a bad memory and also I thought it might be useful to other people. My first attempt at this is on my blog.

I would be interested to know what people think and also to receive suggestions etc.

    I hope to include a featured weekly tip, say for technique or customization, or anything else that maybe suggested.

    Thanks to your blog entry I found out about the 2008 shootout... only it's already full. Well, I'm on the waiting list now. Please keep up the postings for those of us finding ourselves to busy to constantly check in at dgrin.

    Smugmug Monday - Any thoughts for a new name please ?
    It has been suggested that I take this out of my personal blog and make it into a separate blog, so I would really appreciate some suggestions for a name for it.
    Also any other suggestions would be welcome.

    This looks great! It's definitely going to be on my Monday reading list.

    The one thing I would recommend changing is the red text. It kind of fades into the black background, where the white, green, and blue stand very nicely on their own. Maybe a lighter/brighter shade of red would work better. Or yellow?

    Lighter shade of red looked better but I think yellow is even more so ?

    I think it would be wise to run your site by the powers-that-be at Smugmug as right now your site looks like a site operated by Smugmug.

    I just wanted to follow up and say that if it wasn't for your blog, I wouldn't have been near the top of the waiting list to actually make it in for the 2008 shootout. I'm now registered for the shootout and can't wait for October 2008 to get here! clap.gif
