Looks like you got to see most of what game there was. Thanks for sharing these cool shots. It looks like Grandpa Ram has either been eating well, or is about to have himself some more 'kids' to take care of. I really like the game path in the Moose shot. He looks to be sticking right to it.

After this thread, I have decided NOT to post any of my wildlife shots Anne!!bowdown.gif

Very nice series of wildlife shots - Glacier was a blast, wasn't it?

Thanks! I can confirm for you that grandpa ram is just really well fed, and is a full male rolleyes1.gif I am fond of the moose too - he was really young, and had been trying to cross the lake but ended up backtracking.

Thanks! Coming from you, this is indeed high praise! Glad you changed your mind about posting!

Yes, Glacier was a blast - we had a motto that there was no such thing as too much fun! Really enjoyed seeing you and Kathy.

Thank you Dave! We spent a lot of time watching and shooting that moose. gluwater has a great shot that shows the lake bed in different light. Hopefully he will share it.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Thanks!

As to the ram, well he has earned the right to be comfortable - he has one cloudy eye, a big scar on his muzzle, and is probably grandpa to the whole herd in the park. He has to have enough reserves to get him through another winter, poor guy. :D

Harry - of you think this is graphic, you should see some of my other action shots - but gluwater's got the real winning photo in that category (rolleyes1.gifrolleyes1.gif )
    Thanks Harry

Hi Ann.. Wonderful shots (all), they brought back fond memories of my 20 years living in the Colorado Rockies. Especially the bull elk in rutt, man I miss those calls echoing through the hillsides... nothing like is once you hear them for the first time. Thanks for the memories.

The comp in the first one is amazing! The big horn pictures are very good as well. I love the eye contact in the second big horn picture! The moose pic belongs in a magazine. Great comp and light.
