I have a D80 and I am looking to extend my shooting time and handling with a battery grip. I have found several third party manufacturers that sell them cheaper than the "nikon" models. Has anybody bought a third party one? :dunno(i.e. Targus, Link Delight, DigiPower, Etc.) Anyone with an opinion feel free to chime in!

My opinion? Go with genuine Nikon. It's engineered to work properly with the body in question. Most of the other guys have to reverse engineer or guess, and I've heard of people having issues with 3rd party grips. My D100 and D200 have manuf grips and I luv um. Really can't go wrong with something that is made by the manuf for the product in question.

BTW, this might give you a rough idea of the used price...
