Hello everyone! This is my first time submitting a photo. It was a nice day and I was able to capture this butterfly/moth. (the internet says it's technically a butterfly, but I think it may be a moth) Let me know what you think!

Yeah, it was with my 70-200mm canon f4 L, but they don't stay put for long! I was able to focus and then it was off again!

I have a new respect for nature photogs!:D

Welcome and thanks for posting. It's very easy to get an appreciation for nature photographers as soon as you try it yourself. And when I mean yourself, I mean myself! Laughing.gif!

It's really hard to do well. I'm a total newbie at it too. I am in complete awe of the folks here who do it so well. Your first shot is a nice one though. I'm calling that a moth too, but I don't know what it is.

Welcome. The colors are nice. I'm not sure what that is either but it does look more like a colorful moth to me.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
