2 Berlin shots... what u think

The first is the former east Berlin tv-tower, shot through a part of a building that once stood there....
They constucted an L shaped part of it( just the outer wall/no roof) , to see how it fits into the landcape and what the people think about it.

    The second is a "victory post" from the 19th century... (built 1873)
    Just another Berlin sightseeing spot,.... nothing special...
    But those golden things you might recognize around that post actually are cannons used in german-denish, Prussian-austrian and the german-french war(s)...

    Nice piece of history. Is the upper column also made-up of canons, or just the lower support columns?

    The pole is "devided" in to 4 sections and each section has different
    sized cannons .....the top section has the smallest (almost unrecognizable on my picture)
    But it looks like I found a better way of uploading/downsizing them ..!!
    Hope the details are better recognizable...
