South America, July '07

This last July I went with a group of KSU Jazz musicians on a three and a half week South America tour playing gigs in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. I found, naturally, that some of these places are more photogenic than others. A true pro would have been able to squeeze beautiful and intriguing shots out of every location and capture much more of the people, culture and personality of all these places. I'm only a hobbyist though, so when I sorted through several hundred photos and picked the ones that I considered to be of real quality they came out rather lopsided. These are the best and they are from three places: Rio De Janeiro, Iguazu Falls (on the border of Brazil and Argenina) and a coastal town in Uruguay, Punta Del Este.
