Have any of you guys made your own blinds? I am thinking about whether to buy a ready-made blind or experiment a bit with making one myself. I would be interested to hear/see pics of any blinds you all use and how you rate them. Thanks.

I can't give you any experience info...but I was considering using a blind myself.

    Look at this. Setup here.

    Buy it at Cabela's.

Thanks Ric. I had been looking at similar ones online. That one is very cheap though! Thanks thumb.gif

I will probably buy one eventually, but in the meantime will try and make some kind of makeshift blind to tide me over. Any home-made varieties out there anyone?

Rics advice is solid [same one I was looking at ] but look at the different blinds that Cabela has [it is a lot ] you need to know how you would use it and were ?? 2 people ?? sit down ?? color ?? are you going to travel with it ?? carry it with you on long walksheadscratch.gifne_nau.gif oh just buy that one and when are are sitting think this stuff over :D

I went to the new Cabela's in Hoffman Estates this morning. I bought the pop-up one that two can sit in and matching camo chairs. $160 for the blind which is similar to a pole tent but opens like an umbrella...very cool! $30 each for the chairs...which are the kind that you fold like a pair of scissors and bag it. Both are very well made.

Oh...and I bought some cushions for the tushes!wings.gif

There was one very neat one that was a chair with a pull-over blind for $80. Great for one!

Thanks Jeff and Ric. Unfortunately, no-one that I know of in Hiroshima stocks them at all (or at least I don't know where to look for who might!). So I can't really look at them. Will browse that site a bit more. Cheers.

So Ric, have you had a chance to use it yet? Any first thoughts or impressions? Pics?
