That's it, I've had it!!

I just set the price of all photos in my gallery of over 1,000 images by accident. Now I've lost all custom per-image pricing throughout the entire gallery.
Let me explain.
I always set Common Prints and Digital Prints to 0 for images that I've cropped square. This is the easiest way for me to make 5x5 the first available size for ordering prints. Here's my work-flow:
  • Find square photo
  • Select Custom Pro Pricing
  • Click on "setting prices for: image"
  • Click on "quick input: Custom"
  • Tab (focus next edit box)
  • 0 (zero)
  • Tab (focus next combo box)
  • c (hitting the letter 'c' to select common prints)
  • Tab (focus Apply button)
  • Space (press Apply button)
  • Shift-Tab (focus combo box again)
  • d (hitting the letter 'd' to select digital prints)
  • Tab (focus Apply button)
  • Space (press Apply button)
  • Tab (focus Save button)
  • Space (press Save button)
What went wrong? I forgot step 3 - Click on "setting prices for: image"

Steps 4 and on I blow through as if they were recorded in a keyboard macro. In fact, I've considered using a keyboard macro to do this! The problem is, if I forget to click image I don't realize it until it's too late. :cry

Every time I upload 30 to 70 images, there are usually 2 or 3 square ones. I can't fix it if a customer orders a 4x6 of a square image even using Proof Delay, short of selecting No Crop - I've had to do that, and I hate it.

But now, I've just had to reset my entire gallery to portfolio pricing. I'm just not going to go through and find every square print in over 1,000 images! Man, I just wish there was a way to make this "just work"! Isn't that what One Thumb says?

I'd love a quick way to set pricing per-photo rather than the lengthy set of clicks and key-presses I've distilled it to. Maybe another request would be some sort of UNDO for setting gallery pricing. Just ONE undo level. Save me from myself, as I try to make my work-flow as efficient as possible given what you've provided! Third suggestion, but a Custom Pro Pricing for This Photo item right there in the
.

OK - whew. I feel better now. Thanks for letting me rant. And overall, I'm a happy customer.

Thank you.</photo>
