Using LR with Photoshop Elements

Just got a new laptop and am probably going to purchase Lightroom. I know it integrates nicely with Photoshop, but what about with Elements?

Can't plunk down the extra $600 or so right now.

I used PSE5 with LightRoom since it came out...it was a perfect combo.

I would not have purchased CS3, had Photoshop not offered the CS3 upgrade for $299. At this point, not knowing CS3 yet... LR & Elements do all I needed.
