Beach Shots (first post)

I have just started getting into landscape and travel photography after years of doing more photojournalistic work but I am finding the skills needed are much different (especially the PP, exposure skills, and framing). Among other things: I am having issues with framing when there isn't a clear subject like a in a beach shot. And with capturing highlights and then keeping them in pping while maintaining a natural look
I would love some suggestions on my work. Would love to hear comments on pping, composer, and even lighting issues. for looking.

I actually liked the sunset between the two rocks with the rope tied to them the best. Really nice shot.

I would look at all your work in black and white. This will help your eye see landscapes in forms rather than colors. Once you begin making interesting forms with the appropriate light then the colors will enhance. It also helps to find cool locations like the rocks along the water such as in some of your pics.
