New to the message board and just wanted to get to know everyone. This is the first of what I hope you will like of my National Park landscapes.

Canon D10, ISO 100, 1 second, EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM at 65mm w/ a Tiffen Color Enhancing Filter; tripod and using mirror lock-up and remote release.

Thanks to both of you. I have to leave early in the morning headed to see my son in North Carolina. I'll get two more up before I leave and then post some more when I get back on Monday.

bowdown.gif That's a simply beautiful shot, Dixie. Everything is spot-on. The exposure, the color, the contrast, the composition - just excellent!

I really look forward to seeing your work. And I'm now intrigued by the Tiffen Color Enhancing Filter. Must go check that out.

The color enhancing filter is great for sunsets and fall colors. It punches reds, oranges and yellows and make them leap out at you. I've never noticed any other colors being changed or "enhanced."
