black/white images?

i know..these are *NOT* black/white....
i posted the wrong ones



we really really wanna get a snoot or honeycomb attachment..something for a hair light anyway...




it was bedtime and i asked if she would please
please please let me practice with the camera again
you can see the "i need to go to bed" look.
oh well...i promised if she'd model for me last night
that i'd model for her today... i have yet to go to bed tho


anyway...not sure what i want out of posting these?
pat on the back? or someone to give me some tips on what to do better?

we may go purchase a light reflector of some sort today and venture outside for some outdoor shots.

so far we've only locked ourselves indoors to try to come to grips with this camera...
one good thing is we have been shooting in M mode..no more automatic.
(well..only if we need to let the camera give us a hint on what to do)

oh..and we got a light meter too....figuring out how to make the best of it.
