Rose petals are smooth - the texture of your background is smooth - and the image is very nice. Overall though I'm not sure how strong a flower fits into the theme of smooth. The biggest problem we face is predicting how the judges will interpret things.

My favorite part of the image is actually the background - it almost has a lens baby feel to it.

I think this is so beautiful! The composition and colors and bokeh and lensbaby feel just add up to a lovely image I really enjoy looking at. Wonderful!
