I usually don't take the camera out on foggy days but thought I'd try for once.

ya know, I really like them both - they are both moody. I am particularly partial to the second shot.

I think that those of us with less than perfectly clear skies need to take advantage of all shooting light, not just perfect light (something I need to remind myslef of)

    Well done, thanks for sharing.

I like the second one as well, it has a nice mystical feeling to it.

Maybe see how it looks with a wider/shorter crop? It seems like there is a little bit too much empty sky, though that could be what you were going for.

Like Ann said, always good to try something new! Good Job!

The rework is beautiful. My parents live near Olympia, I can't wait to get back up there!

That's a Chamber of Commerce shot!

The first shot is inspiring. Very well put together.

The second shot is nice, but similar can be seen in any chamber of commerce brochure.
    Anybody can do it.

Like the one with the boats in it. Nice capture. I admitt I'd be tempted to
crop the bottom away where the clearer / sharper mast reflections end.

    Puget Sound in the fall
Nice subtle colors--a true Puget Sound Autumn scene. The perspective looks like you were in a canoe or kayak.

I like both shots. Any time you get nice shots like these in Washington this time of year you are doing well. And I don't think a Washington chamber of commerce brochure ever shows any fog or rain. In the second one the colors on the hill look great muted by the mist.
