Yeah, this one is to die for. My big problem with macro shots is DOF. It's always so narrow. Here, sash has made it work for him. I can sometimes do that with people scale shots, but the use here is really inspiring.
would you believe, those macros taken with sony 717 and canon 250d closeup lens
Actually, I love digicams for macros. The smaller sensor gives better DOF. As the sensor gets smaller, actual lens aperature for a given f-stop decreases. And approaches the pin-hole effect where everything is in focus.
I've never gotten better flowers than I did in my Oly E10 days. I had a macro lens attachment.
Brandon I say the same thing everyday after viewing some of the excellent shots posted here. The saving grace on this one was, at least, it wasn't someone's "1st shot". :lol Those just killllllll me :grim
thanks andy, and everyone else for commenting. minor correction though, t'was the good 'ol 828, which as of yesterday i no longer have :cry
on a lighter note, got the 17-40 today no big surprises other than the giant lens hood, lol. as for macros, i know i'll be craving a decent macro lens by summer... i'll be buggin you for some input around then

Try getting that with your 100mm macro.
