Reflection in Boston

I took this shot of my family this weekend. I have tried cropping the edges off to remove the sides of the window... and softening the edges... but I am not really happy with it. I am posting it here because this shot "speaks" to me and I like it as is but feel there is more there. What should I try?

A little predictable, but here's a suggestion. I don't think you can have the balance you do, in the shot. Something has to give, in order for the other to be dominant.

I get both family and neighborhood vibes from this. So I gave it a slightly
different crop. I wanted to keep the reflection of the neighborhood, the
market and the Boston sign. At the same time, lose the stuff in people's
    hands.

    Hopefully, you'll like this version.

I like both of these and like Ian408's the best of them. Still wish I could sneak in the top of the buildings in the reflection with the tree but it doesn't work to my eye. I guess I should have taken a better shot. ;)

    Thanks!

I am new here and really enjoying looking at other's photos and work... I think that is my favorite bit about pictures, the simple act of perusing them.

Yeah, nice job Ian. I do like that one the best. I will stop by as often as I can and check out the pictures and try to say away from the new equipment lust forums. :) Thanks for the welcome!

    Dave,

It all starts with a good original!

Look forward to seeing more images.

Looking at Peachman's version I think between his and Ian's it comes down to taste. Thanks again to all. I will try and read this forum every two weeks if not more regularly. I love some of the shots I have seen. I am going to try some city shots myself now.
