Can we change "Buy this print" to "Add to cart"?

This has come up a few times, and came up again today. With it worded like it is, it scares a few people. Now, we all know that it simply takes the customer into the cart. But they don't know that. :wink

Almost every other site uses 'add to cart', and potential customers know that there will be a button in there that says 'empty cart'.

Talked to my nephew today. His assistant coach, who is the father of this very talented little lady

He told my nephew that he won't commit to buying this series of pics(8 all together), as well others :wink , without first knowing the price.

Again; Now, we all know that it simply takes the customer into the cart. But they don't know that. :wink

Any thoughts from others about this?

    1. Make a price list. It's not hard, and you can personalize it. See my pro wiki pro tips page for examples.

    2. change the text :) FAQ: #23

    Andy -

I looked at #23 and see all the code but I do not see where I put the substitution in. I like the idea of being able to replace buy this photo with "add to cart" but the script seems to remove words not replace them.

    Thanks,
    Brian

I tried it in the JS section, where I believe it should go, but it's not working for me. It does replace the text, but it replaces it with portions of the code itself.

You have a link to where you put it in so I can have a look at what's going on? Or did you remove the code already? ear.gif

Wow!!! Looks Perfect!!! All you need to do now is distribute a decoder ring to all your customers mapping the message to 'Add to Cart'!!!
