Siberian Tiger Cubs

The Los Angeles zoo just released 4 month old cubs (2 male and 1 female). This is the second litter from the Sumatran Tiger at the zoo. I hear that Sumatrans in captive are rare and the three cubs were just full of energy for about 4 hours, after which they seem to get tired and went for a nap. There were several shooters there for the tigers as they all seem to hang out for several hours like I did. The crowd sure seem to like them as well.

Really nice captures, These are however not Siberian tigers they are Sumatran tiger cubs, I hope you donn't mind the correction.

The Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens is proud to announce the birth and public debut of a trio of Sumatran tiger cubs. The three cubs, two males and a female, were born on June 3rd at the Zoo.

Oops, you are right, they are Sumatran not the more common Siberians (IIRC). Thanks for the correction, I'll re-edit the original post.

Ha ha, she was actually very calm and relaxed, but she did vocalize a lot more than normal, making calls for the cubs at times.
