Custom domain

After following all the directions for custom domains I'm still having a slight problem.
I've managed to get my domain to redirect to my site at smugmug but it still shows up as betzography.smugmug.com in the address bar. I've attempted to update this through my cpanel but each time I enter my domain I get an error msg:
"That hostname doesn't appear to be valid. It doesn't resolve to a hostname."
I'm hoping that this is just me being impatient but I'm confused since GoDaddy is obviously pointed in the right direction.

This actually answers my question... it will most likely "stick" later today or in the next day or so. I figured that the time-frame would be how long it would take GoDaddy. Thanks for your quick response! I'll just force myself to be patient.
It's just that I'm actually downright giddy over my pro account. Smugmug has given me the ability to concentrate on what I'm passionate about... getting the photos. Next to my gear this is absolutely the best investment I've made for my photography!
Basically, I switched from use NetworkSolutions to my own host and it totally screwed everything up. I went back to NetSol and tried to follow the instructions that SM provides, but they've changed their interface completely so I am not sure I'm doing this correct....
1. Should i be changing my domain to point to tippiepics.smugmug.com?
2. I did that and now I'm at least getting things to go to my site, but my photos aren't showing up - they refer to www.tippiepics.com (although, when I go there or type in any URL that has that at the beginning, it resolves to tippiepics.smugmug.com). Should I just be patient? Will this change back to www.tippiepics.com and resolve itself invisibly (even though the routing changed immediately) in the next day or so?
Thanks!
(Remind me never to do this again. I finally got my own real email with my domain, but I could have saved myself a ton of trouble doing it through NetSol in the first place!)
