Lake Critters

I went to a local lake with my dog this weekend and was surprised to see the water level so low. We need some snow in northern Nevada to fill the lakes next year. The frogs were everywhere, hundreds in small puddles of water.

When i visited the lake in summer there were a lot of bull frogs and very large tadpoles, most of these frogs were bull frogs.

Out of the corner of my eye i notices something coming toward the puddle, it was a Musk Rat. With the shortage of water everything comes to these puddles to eat.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Great captures! The toads are all over the place at my house but no frogs. Very nice captures.
