The company also has a nearly 200,000-square-foot warehouse in the Brooklyn Naval Yard that feeds its online division, which represents about 70 percent the company's business.

...well... when you walk in the store all of the hassidic jews are up front selling, and there are hispanic people working on shipping, etc. If they want to make more then they gotta get outta shipping, plain and simple. Now I'm not saying BH did nothing wrong (in a court of law), cause there very well may be discrimination going on with who gets the good jobs. The place is obviously run by Jews, so you would think that they want Jews working the floor. I personally don't see a problem with that... if you don't like it apply to work at some other camera store thats run by Hispanics, or doesn't care. Ya know, a white agnostic guy generally doesn't get discriminated upon, but I think if I went to work there I very well may be. Big deal. rolleyes1.gif

lol... there's not much room in downtown Manhattan for the amount of goods they need to stock. Their business is MASSIVE... much much larger than a room with some lenses and camera bodies in it. Take another look at their website and click on some large size stuff like light kits, tv's, computers, stereos... its a freakin who's who of electronic goodies!!

I don't think it's true. I think the Hasidics stand out because they're so unsual looking. I've seen plenty of sales folks there who didn't look Jewish, much less Hasidic. I saw at least one african-American working the floor there the last time I was there. In fact, I've never had a Jewish sales person in the DSLR department, now that I think about it.ne_nau.gif
