Gradient Background on homepage?

I'd like a Gradient Background on my home page

Like this:

But I'm having trouble loading it

This is what I have on my CCS

background-repeat: repeat-y;

I had a similar problem.. Finally integrated www.supersnapshot.smugmug.com into www.supersnapshots.com. Check out my source code on www.supersnapshots.com. Pay special attention to all those divs.
