Anyway, you do get to see some funy things... 20 meters down the road, we've spotted this guy with a mattrace on his car doing an U turn on the very same road.
I am interested in going to Mongolia.
Did you get out of the cities to see the countryside?
I have been to a lot of the world (44 countries) and have been to Burma, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam and Laos in the last 7 years.
Mongolia, India and China are next on my list.
But the russians did took the big Budha so the Mongolians had to make a new one - 26 meters tall statue made out of copper and covered in 500 meters of pure silk
I love the photos you took in Mongolia. I recently was in Ulaan Baatar on business and took many photos of the city. Please check them out at the following link. Click Here.

Yes, we did three short excursions to national parks around UlaanBaatar. I will post some pics but it's lovely countryside worth seeing and traveling.
Bein nomadic, mongolians don't have a lot of old buildings. Althought nice, the Winter Palace of Boghd Khaan isn't as mint as 100 years ago.
It's good to see someone post about it on here.
That sky looks so blue, the women so beautiful. I like the bride in the western wedding dress.
