a newb here! and i'm thinking of entering this photo...
first of all, does it meet the theme? my tentative title would be "Oppositions: Orange and Green". It's not colourful in that it has the full spectrum of colours but it revolves around the complementaries of red/orange and green. so i'd like some feedback on that.
also, i'm trying to practice my embedding of images and the exif tagging thingie...

We haven't had a lot of discussion on what "colorful" means, but I don't think it has to be expressed by finding a way to include every color in the spectrum. One could focus on two or three colors in a vibrant way to meet the colorful side of the theme, but expressing via one color and it's family would be the other side.
Your photo, when I pull back from the screen, speaks "monochrome" to me, as the orange seems to dominate, while the green jumps out from the center to give it shape. A judge, who is likely to not have been watching all along, not having seen all of this discussion, will see it in "first impression mode."

I do this by setting my gallery to critique mode, and the exif's there, but also there's a link there to an exif page. I link the exif page.
