Don't think it anythink to do with the picture but in that second shot the babies eys are so large.

These are cute.

I think you need to set the black point on #2. It seems pretty low contrast.

It runs in the family- all the little ones have huge eyes. My boy is 8 and that is the first thing anyone notices- It has always been that way.

It is low contrast on purpose. I will do another version though to see about boosting the color/contrast.
