I want to make a small watermark that will go in one corner of my picture but every time I try when I get to the Smugmug page to make it and select bottom left (for instance) it goes to the bottom but not the left. Or on the most recent one I did, I selected tile just to see and it ran it several times right over the center of the picture. I think it has something to do with the size of my file to start with but I followed the tutorial and I'm still having probelms. Any suggestions? Thanks

How much "white" space do you have around your text? Crop it down to just
outside of the text.

Thank you both. Now maybe my problem is a sizing issue. I really want something small and not obtrusive to photos I want to share, but I used a canvas of 400x100 and made sure my text filled that. It took up the whole sample picture. I really only want something small for a corner with my name on it. What size should it be? thanks again

edited- sorry that's the gallery. it's the last one ie http://BPrincePhotography.smugmug.com/photos/210238084-S.png
Is the one that is 400x100 and I thought that would be small but when I try to set as a watermark it takes the whole sample photo. I just want something small for the corner of a photo. And I thought this would be easy I've followed every other tutorial and had perfect results so I'm sure it's something that I'm doing but can't figure out what. HMMM

Yep- well when I ran these looks like I'm on the right track (maybe??) but way too big still.
Here's 2
I thought at that size it wouldn't be as big. I'd like something about 1/3 the size maybe. Just something small to mark one corner not the whole bottom. I'm guessing I'll need 4 different ones- 1 dark lettering and 1 light lettering and each of those done at different sized for landscape vs protrait. Am I on the right track?
Take an XL3 landscape and portrait image from your site, then make a watermark that is the size you want for that image.
Try that
