Some of my photos from a recent birthday trip for my wife. She was born in Napa, so this was a homecoming of sorts. We had a great time. Enjoy...

A sausage / wine / cheese / olive shop in St. Helena. I used the store shelf as a temporary tripod. This guy loves to collect business cards.

My Wife outside Howard's Cafe in Occidental. Great place for breakfast.

I love the roads out there. Must return with motorcycle...

The mouth of the Russian River.

A first for me, a Biker Brewpub.

209191260-L.jpg

Later that night, enjoying beers while watching the Boston / Cleveland game, Game One of the ALCS. Our Boston hats created a stir...

Some photos from our last day, a long, lazy drive down the coast to San Francisco...

Some GS Riders I know from our sister forum but have yet to meet in person. This was a random meeting in Point Reyes. Cool little village, a bit too liberal / hippy for me but hey, that is what makes the world go round, right?

Bueller?

I know, probably the most photographed bridge in the world, but the weather this day was spectacular. Some of the many photos I took of the bridge last Saturday...

We visted a college buddy of mine later in the day, he's lived in the Mission district for the last fifteen years. He gave us the walking tour. I literally "shot from the hip" as we walked from place to place. I love doing that. The throw away percentage is higher but you always end up with something worth keeping. My favorite "hip shots" here...

That is one heck of a long Bridge isn't it.
Hopefully I have one decent night shot to edit from my recent trip there too.

San Fran is quite a multicultural place, heaps of great places to eat too.
I tried foods I'd never dared to this time around too.

Looks like you had a wonderful trip
Your photos are beautiful ........thanks for sharing.... Skippy :D

    Nice series.

My inlaws live in the redwoods up by Occidental. Beautiful area. So beautiful. My daughter loves the cows. :D

They're in a converted one room schoolhouse up there. I'm going for thanksgiving! :D

    Ok, enough about me....
