Was thinking of going with this photo for LPS 15. Would like your thoughts
as to if it works or not for theme.

I love it! "Dirty Harry" style :D I don't know if this will be a problem but the 2 visible cylinders look empty?... I don't really like the title either... other than that I think you have a definite contenderthumb.gif

Lots of views. Little in the way of responses. So maybe the image is a
little too sensitive a topic in peoples minds. Can't say I blame anyone
given the times et.... I'm there too. Or maybe its just a really poor take plus all else.

Contender? Thanks. :D Have to like that vote of confindence. I'm so looking for contender. Like everyone else.
Maybe good for 88 out of 89. mwink.gif
So for title I should maybe go with "Can't remember if
I fired 5 or 6 shots." or "Do you feel Lucky?" I favor the later, but hate
    to steal lines.

I did dodge the two cylinders to brighten them and better bring out the bullets. Hollow points. So maybe I need more there and elsewhere. Like say the muzzle.

Maybe I should just go with a cute puppy shot to win the hearts and minds.
So now I am looking for just the right puppy. The one that draws in the gals with ohhhh and awwessss. iloveyou.gif Perhaps that will get me inside of 10.

Then again another potential comes to mind. I just love these challanges!
    Think, then think again.

I don't know DaddyO??? I do think a gun photo has the most impact if your camera is looking straight down the barel and you capture the shooters eyes, or you capture someone firing and get the muzel flash...

these shots got me published in the Stars and Stripes news paper...
133680297-L.jpg don't know if they would win an LPS contes though...

Good luck with whatever you decide...

It works for me as to being in theme and a good photo to enter.

I hear that. Might even play with that a bit just cuz. In the case of this
photo I was looking more for implied person presence seeking the cause of
    the disturbance.

Your photos for the Stars and Stripes do a nice level of impact. thumb.gif

    Thanks Felicia!

I like what I have come up with but the more I look at it the more I think it is missing
something that could take the photo effort up a notch. :D
Hmmmmm. What could it be. headscratch.gif
