CS2 Problems

Hi all,

I've just gotten a new laptop with Windows Vista and tried to install and activate Photoshop (after deactivating it on the other PC). I got a message saying:

You are not allowed to continue because you account does not have the proper privileges. Please log in using an account with administrator privileges and try again.

I'm definitely on the admin account; I've tried going to Adobe support and found a suggestion to turn off any anti-virus or file-controlling software, which I did; I tried reinstalling. None of this work...I still get this message. Blah.

Has anyone else ever run into this problem trying to activate their CS2 or if anyone knows a possible fix I haven't tried.

No experience with Vista... but I did a quick google search and found this thread on Photography Forums.

The work around apparently is to right click on the CS2 icon and change it so that it runs CS2 as an administrator
