My bank participates in building homes for Habitat for Humanity. Last week we had "Women Build" for one of the families in Pinellas, FL. We will be doing another one here in Sarasota next month. .
It was great fun, i think we goofed a lot, but hey, we did what needed to be done. 7 hours on the site in the heat is a darn hard work!! :D

More shots here if anyone interested

Well done! Love the shots and the contribution.

One question - which lady are you in the first photo?

Thanks Scott! I was a photographer, so i don't have myself in the picture. I believe someone else had little camera and took group shot. I don't like being photographed btw :D

I have never worked a habitat project, but have done construction oriented volunteer work on mission trips with our church's youth group for the last 8 years. Kudos to you and your co workers for giving someone a much needed helping hand in turning their life around. Anyone who has never done this cannot imagine that the payback is so good. I have always seemed to get much more out of the experience than I put into it. A little sweat can go a long way.

    Thanks for sharing!!!

Thank you everyone for commenting. It's always a great pleasure to help those in need. It was fun (beats sitting in the office!) This house is for the lady with two little boys, and I'm sure she'll enjoy her new home as much as we enjoy building it!

    Marina,

These shots are great. I really like the last one.

Do you live here in Pinellas? I'm in Clearwater and I'm curious about other local portraitists like yourself.
