I'm a lil confused here......
I punch saturation in my pic....UL it and color is all washed! :scratch
There something I'm missing? (wouldn't be the 1st time):dunno :D

Why won't the pic UL with my color adjustments?
Don't want it to auto correct.

I can't tell for sure since it doesn't appear you have originals enabled for that pic, but I would guess that when you uploaded the image, it was not in the sRGB colorspace (probably in AdobeRGB). Convert to sRGB and re-upload and your colors will be preserved. If that's the issue, you can see http://www.smugmug.com/help/srgb-versus-adobe-rgb-1998 for an explanation.

Jim, you still have to get your photos in sRGB and not prophoto. We have been converting them as a preventative measure, yes it's busted for the past few days but I always tell people to do it on your own, it's much better thumb.gif

If you just uncheck the color profile checkbox in the save dialog the photo will still be in the ProPhotoRGB colorspace, but without the embedded Profile. Without that, any software you open the photo with cant know that it is actually ProPhotoRGB and therefore assumes it might be sRGB -> wrong colors. You have to convert the photo to sRGB. (You have to assign ProPhotoRGB first for the photos with the missing profiles!)

Try and check the "Ask when opening" checkboxes in you color settings. Photoshop will then let you know if you open a photo with a different color space than sRGB and asks you what to do with it.

This is your photo from smugmug with ProPhotoRGB assigned and then converted to sRGB:

It you shoot RAW, check that the RAW Converter is also set to sRGB. With RAW files, the setting of the camera matters only for the JPGs, not for the RAW files.

Well after doof'in around a bit.....I converted my RAW file to JPG and then PP'd it.
    NOW they come out alright.
Dunno stupid of me to take all my shots in RAW in this case I guess.
Shoulda just stuck with the standard JPG.

    NOW things upload correctly
