As before - it was a great trip. The colors were nice when we arrived, but certainly not not as much "fall" as we wanted.
John, Marc, and I were on the top of a mountain the first night for some sunset shots. Shooting the trees in the valleys was hard because there were not much in terms of color variety, and there was a lot of haze that reduced clarity.
A sunrise.
A few sunsets.
Marc likes to teach the sunstar technique. On this trip we also learned the "ice-in-a-glass-after-a-beer" technique.
Muench-bokeh is free with every shot.
The three-year drought really showed. The falls have been reduced to trickles.
A little color.
We saw a lot of chipmunks, deer, and two black bears. This deer was in front of our lodge when we got back one afternoon.
Near the end the colors really started to come out.
Heading home on the last day - the only day with any rain. It was still very warm.
