    yeah..it snuck up on me...I was looking down at my camera & when I looked up it was almost over me.

    I'd say a harrier as well. The overall body, wing and head shape make me think harrier. I haven't seen one yet in Texas this season. They must be around though.

    Nice captures Dave! I believe it is an immature Northern Harrier, or possibly a female.
