    LOVE IT....

    "Whispers In The Wind"???

    "Whispers"

    "Listen and You Will Hear"

" CELTIC WOMAN LYRICS - I hear your voice on the wind And I hear you call out my name "Listen, my child," you say to me "I am the voice of your history"
You're only as good as your next photo....

Laughing.gif....your photo reminds me of something Kevin Costner said in the movie "Waterworld"...sometimes we talk so much, we don't stop to listen, and Nature has much to tell us...we just have to take the time to BE QUIET and ENJOY!! lol

    Again, Great Photo...nice work...bowdown.gif

I like Emily's suggestion of "Red Sentinel" myself.

"Autumn's Audactiy?" (I really use alliteration much too much...)

It's all been said, although to be honest, I still don't know what Sherstone suggested for a title...:D :D

Without even seeing the full field of photos, I think this will be in my unofficial top 10.

    Good capture.

    Peter

If you're still looking for a title, I do like Emily's suggestion of "Red Sentinal," or somthing along the likes of a guard on watch...

As for the image itself, I'm not sure If I'm seeing it correctly or not. If this isn't a composite, I apologize, but the pieces, grass/tree/sky don't seem to fit believably to me. Just my opinion.

I was wondering when someone was going to suggest it. It is a composite. This hill is very cool IMO, but unfortunately does not have any trees growing on it. So I had to transpose one. I suppose the issue is the lighting doesn't match exactly. I had the image in my mind's eye but unfortunately the scene in my mind didn't exist anywhere near me =c/ Hope it doesn't ruin the magic mwink.gif

I think what it needs is a different sky, and the rest would fit together. This sky looks like the sky would if you pointed your camera at a much higher angle. than it is with the tree and hill. If you were able to get a totally blue sky, or a clouded sky that was shot at a lower angle.. If you have to stand on a chimney to get that.....

Actually the sky is original. It was shot in the same shot as the hill. If it was a field it wouldn't work, but it's actually a raised hill so the angle fits.

I actually like it as it is, your tree is just a tad crooked. I wouldn't worry about the light too much as to me it fits the cleanliness of the overall image.

Somehow, he doesn't look lonely to me, looks like he's comfortable in his own skin and loving his space--to me there's an excitement about the picture, not a restfulness--did I say I LIKE IT?!!
