I will put in a few more photos from "Tops" both as scenics and architecture as time goes by. This is the place which is commonly considered the highest viewpoint in Cebu. I don't know the name but the locals call it "Tops" and the sign posts say "Top"

Nice shots, Charles. Your work seems inspired of late.

love the first shot, really looks good. the second shot needs something, im not sure what though. one thought is if you had a fisheye, to reshoot it from the same angle curving the background, i think id like it more that way. still a good shot though.

I can only hope to progress to the point of one day being a second rate photographer, wish me luck.

Thanks to all for the kind words. I am in Japan this week and will post some shots from here.

Mesanwhile... I did not do a good job with the first shot when a human was involved. A photo became a snapshot. Probably a lesson for all of us not to lose our artist's eye when shooting loved ones.

    No#1,
Now why did the build that like that? and please don't say "cos I asked them to"

'cause the architect's name was Baggins... 'cause the "Top" is round... ? Who really knows for sure. Each alcove contains a stone table that can likely protect from atomic blasts and stone benches built into the walls that are solid chunks of stone.

I would have liked to see if you had the subject hide and basiclly peek at the Camera if the Art edge could have been Maintained or if she had leaned to conform to the Arch shape near an arch.

Just a thought. I like the First one. I think here the Centering of the Person blows the Art you were mentioning.

Exactly what I mean by snapshot... the automatic centering
