If i create a picture package in photoshop, basically an 8x10 page that would have a 5x7 and a few other smaller size photos on it, will it print well for my clients. Also will they be able to view it well enough to make a descision? If I only sell it as an 8x10 do you think that will work?

Sort of like the collage setting in Picassa. I was planning on doing this a manual one - not picassa for one of the soccer teams I shoot for the end of the season (It's amazing how many kids have their tongue sticking out when they are running or shooting) so great question. Almost want a feature request now......

It would work, but watch for the edges. You have a slight crop on some photos that might make the photos on the edge slightly smaller than you intended.... I had that happen where a few things got cropped off. Not a huge deal, but definitely something to think about.

(I've done something similar, but with a border to prevent that from happening.)

Andi, how much of a border did you give? And did having the border annoy the customer at all?

Gosh, it's been a long time, but I think it was 1/8"- very small. I put a small white border around each image - it was slightly wider on some sides than others.

I just explained to the customer that this was the best way for me to ensure that they were getting the full image. They appreciated me taking the extra time to do that - and had no problems what-so-ever!

    HTH!
