I love this lens so much I went out and got the IS version. Were it not for that, I wouldn't put this lens up for sale! The colors and sharpness make this one of the best bargains in the L bucket!
Front and rear elements are clean, barrel is clean as well. The plastic mount for the hood shows signs from wear (removing and installing the hood), but the hood fits snugly, no issues at all. I'm just mentioning it because it's a departure from the "as new" lenses that frequently float around this forum. What's included? The lens caps, hood and the lens. NO box, no lens pouch, no manual, no warranty card (out of warranty), no styrofoam, no OEM canon plastic wrap, but none of that stuff will help you take a picture! Date code is "US*****" as shown in the picture below.
A friend of mine is borrowing the lens in Delaware. Lens is available for local pick up, or he will ship UPS ground to you. $475 to your door (shipped and pp in the CONUS)! I want this sold today. Please don't email me with offers...the answer is "no thank you". First one to paypal gets the lens. If it doesn't sell, off to ebay it goes.
