Went to a Strobist meeting on Sunday in a statepark outside of Atlanta. We driving down a back road on my way to the park when I noticed this outside the passenger window....I think I scared a couple cows when I slammed on the brakes.

Hope you like it:

    Hmmmm....
I love it, but why so small?

I thought it had to be reduced to 800 to be entered? Maybe I did it wrong. I tried a new program this time.

    I was wondering....

If it would be considered colorful enough. I mean "colorful"....does that require that the colors be over the top? I mean I love the clear, cyrstal blue sky with the little row of clouds. The reflecting clear blue sky in and out of the fog covered water. So does it scream COLOR? No, not really.

I guess this all goes back to ones interpretation of colorful....

Jon, that is great scene. I'd like to see some more detail in the foreground, but overall, good capture. I agree, double check your resize because that is definitely not 800 px. Not that it is required but with an image like this, it would really be a benefit.

Thanks! I messed around a bit with it in Lightroom...still learning...and could pull out some detail. But for some reason I like it just as it came out of the camera.

Maybe I uploaded the wrong one...;)

    It's 500 pixels wide. I would reimport it =c)

    Beautiful shot!

(and it IS 800 - just right click and click properties... It's short so it looks smaller, but it is 800...)
