wireless shutter remote

I know nothing about these. I have a D200. I am currently not using any lighting although I do have an SB800 and I want to add some other type of lighting but that's another post. LOL What I want to be able to do is control focus and shutter release wirelessly. I don't think I want to be stuck with a clear line of sight to camera- ie I want to hold remote in pocket, etc. Please direct me on what my options are. I don't know if I should go with something more than I would need right now knowing that I want to add the lighting. I'm just so confused. :scratch

Check this one out. It looks like the D200 doesn't let you use an IR remote - I discovered the same thing when I upgraded from the Canon 300D to a 30D. I purchased the Canon version of this remote from this vendor. It's a radio-controlled unit. You don't need to be in line-of-sight to the camera, and it works out to 50+ feet away from the camera. It allows you to focus first then shoot as well as control bulb mode shooting.

Fast service, good price (less than 1/3 of the Canon-brand unit) and it works well.

I have the version of that one that works for Canon. No problems at all. Works like a champ. No brainer for the money.
